In, 2018-19, Benedictine ran away with the regular season title with a perfect 24-0 record. However, they ended up losing in the HoA tournament championship game to Peru State. The Heart placed three teams into the NAIA DI National Tournament. William Penn and Benedictine advanced out of the first round, with both them and William Penn losing in the Sweet 16!
