Good morning NAIA hoops fans! As you’re sipping on your coffee this morning let us catch you up on what is happening around the NAIA Hoops world!
- In case you missed it, we released our Top 25 polls last night. You can read them both here: NAIA DI POLL, NAIA DII POLL. To this point we have had nearly 3,000 views of the polls.
- We will be updating our poll every Sunday before the release of the NAIA official rankings.
- With it being Thanksgiving Week, we wanted to draw everyone’s attention to two really good events that will take place:
- The First one is “The Show” which was started by Rio Grande (OH) Head Coach Ken French five years ago. It is a great 3-day classic that features a lot of teams who played in last seasons NAIA DII National Tournament.
- The second event to watch this week will be the Battle at The Beach, which is in it’s inaugural year.
- We encourage you all to follow both accounts for updates on the weekend. We will also have a write up on each event on Wednesday, so be sure to stay tuned!
- St. Francis (IL) almost became the fourth team this year to knock off an NCAA DI team. They battled Bethune-Cookman tough, but fell just short at 74-70. Still a great performance from the CCAC members!
