Wrightโs Wonder Rankings
(RV) Harris-Stowe State (Mo)- I think the Hornets are still the team to beat. They have the best player in the conference in Deshawn Munson and enough pieces around him to win games.
(RV) Central Baptist (Ark) – Not the start that they were expecting, but cream rises to the top, and they have the talent that will keep them atop the AMC.
Missouri Baptist- The Spartans are finding ways to win close games. I can see them making noise in the AMC standings if they continue to win these close games.
Columbia College (Mo)- The Cougars wonโt be silenced in the standings this season. Their 4-1 start features some quality wins, and when conference play comes around the team will be a tough matchup for 40 minutes.
Lyon College (Ark)- We wonโt see the Scots for a while but, Iโm excited to see what Coach Tapp and the rest of the team look like in January.
William Woods (Mo)- January canโt come fast enough for this Owls team. Coach Belt is one of the most energetic coaches in the country, and I know heโll have his guys ready to go when the time comes.
Williams Baptist- After a less than stellar showing in the Martin Methodist Classic, the Eagles have a lot to prove if they want to compete in this conference.
Health Sciences & Pharmacy- The Eutectics have some pieces to win, but still have a lot to prove if they want to be competitive in the AMC.
Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo)- Still winless on the season, the Trojans look a step behind early in their season. The team will have a lot to prove if their season will be worthwhile in the AMC.
