A little under the radar Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup. Point is off to a hot 3-1 start to AAC play, and sits at 6-1 overall.ย Bryan is 3-1, with their only loss being a road OT loss to Life (GA). This should be a great conference game out in Georgia.
Don’t let records fool you in this one. Bethel is 1-2 in the league, but their two losses are by a combined 5 points. York is 1-0 in KCAC play, but 1-2 overall. Their two losses by a combined 10 points. The KCAC is a grind of a league, and it is still early, but this game can go a long ways in getting one of these two teams some momentum moving forward.ย

Five Players To Watch
Lorenzo Freeman 6’2 G Point (GA) – 20.1ppg/4.9rpg
Lorenzo dropped 30 points on Truett McConnell and 33 on Tennessee Wesleyan before cooling off and only having 6 points in his last game against Columbia International. Look for Lorenzo to get back going strong in this one.ย
Jaylon Scott 6’5 Jr F Bethel (KS) – 17.3ppg/12.0rpg
Jaylon is a relentless rebounder and twice this year he has had 15+ rebounds in a game. The Junior forward will look to have another big Double-Double tonight as the Threshers to help get a KCAC win!ย
Miki Tadic 6’3 So G Rio Grande – 33ppg/5rpg
Miki is the reigning River States Conference Player of the Week as the Sophomore guard dropped 33 points in the first game of the years against Goshen. Miki can light it up and Rio will need another big performance if they have a shot to get a big road win against #12 Marian.ย
Brandon Durnell 6’6 Sr F Spring Arbor – 25.7ppg/11.3rpg
Brandon has had a great career at Spring Arbor. Including winning a National Title and being a 2x NAIA All-American. He is off to another huge start to the year, and will be a force all year for the Cougars.ย
Dean Austin 6’0 Sr G Bacone – 22.2ppg/5.5rpg
This Bacone team has really struggled the past few years to win games. They snapped a 2 and a half year home losing streak earlier in the year, and are playing teams tough. Dean is a big part of that, as he joins La’Corian Ballard as a dynamic scoring duo that has helped them compete harder this year.ย
