Adarion Hudson 6’0 G Martin Methodist 18ppg/3.5apg
This Martin Methodist team is sitting at 4-0 and coming off a nice win against Pikeville. A big reason for the early success comes from the play of Adarion Hudson. The dynamic guard in his last two games is averaging 22.5 points to go along with 6.0apg. He will need another big performance today if they plan to knock off #15 Cumberlands (KY).
Cade Coffman 6’5 G Evangel – 14.9ppg/8.0rpg
Cade has already put together a pretty solid two year career at Evangel. The big wing can really shoot it from the outside and has helped Evangel to five straight wins. Putting them atop the Heart South Division.
Q Cager 5’10 G William Penn – 9.7ppg/3.7rpg/4.2apg
Cager is coming off of a 10pt, 7reb, 7asst game on Wednesday against Peru State. He is one of the most underrated point guards in the NAIA, as he doesn’t always look to score the rock, but he is electric with the ball in his hands and leading that WPU break. Really fun player to watch even when he isn’t scoring the ball.
Colen Gaynor 6’5 W/F Lindsey Wilson – 11.8ppg/8.6rpgย
A 26 point, 9 rebound, 4 assist game against #18 Dalton State garnered him the Mid-South Player of the Week last week. The Science and Arts transfer is starting to figure out his way on his new team and is primed to really take off.
Dylan Alderson 6’5 W Indiana Wesleyan – 15.1ppg/3.7rpg
Most people know of both Kyle Mangas and Seth Maxwell for IWU. Both have been studs for the past few years. However, newcomer Dylan Alderson has been a nice addition to an already loaded team this year. The D1 Toledo transfer has had 3 games of 20+ points already this season. His game adds in perfectly to this roster and is just another weapon for Coach Tonagel and staff.
