Kamari Newman 6’3 G William Penn – 14.8ppg/3.6rpg
The All-American was one of the top shooters in the country last year. He has started out a little slow shooting %wise this season, but looks to be scoring in more ways this season. He is coming off of two good games that saw him score 17 points against Peru State and 22 points this past Saturday at Clarke.
Nick Coleman 6’1 G Graceland – 15.4ppg
Coleman had a nice week last week with 18pts, 4reb, 7assts in a win against STL Pharmacy and then followed that up with a 16pt, 4reb, 4asst game in a conference win against Clarke. Tonight he will be looking to carry last weeks momentum into a tough road contest at Peru State.
AJ Range 6’6 F Kansas Wesleyan – 17.6ppg/11.14rpg
We haven’t seen the Coyotes in a couple of weeks, but through his first 7 games of the season AJ has 5 double-doubles. He is currently in the Top 20 in the NAIA in 3 different categories: offensive rebounds per game (4.4) – 13th in NAIA, Total Rebounds (79) -14th in NAIA, Total rebounds per game (11.14) – 19th in NAIA.
Wanya King 6’0 G Freed Hardeman – 16ppg/2.9apg
Wanya is 1/3 of a potent scoring punch that this Lion squad has had to start the season. The Arkansas-Monticello transfer has had a nice impact on this FHU team that is now 5-0!
Brandon Williams 6’1 G Blue Mountain 18.14ppg/5.0rpg/2.9apg
ย Blue Mountain hasn’t gotten off to a great start at just 3-5 overall, but in the seven games that Brandon Williams has played in he has scored in double figures in each of them. He is a shifty guard who can obviously fill it up!
