Corey Reeves 6’6 G Park (MO) 11.5ppg/2rpg
The All-American has only played in 2 of Park’s games this season so far, but is coming off a 20 point, 4reb, 4asst game. Park has struggled to win without him, but are a completely different team when he is on the floor. He is one of the best players in NAIA and makes Park a real threat in the Heart of America.
Anthony Brown 6’5 G MidAmerica Nazarene 16.44ppg/6.3rpg/2apg/2.67spg
We keep saying it, the Sophomore is SPECIAL. He has a really smooth game and has stepped up big late in games during his career. He will have a shot to go down as one of the all time greats to put on a Pioneer uniform once his career is finished. Legendary Head Coach Rocky Lamar will figure out how to right the ship from MNU’s early struggles and Anthony Brown will be a big part of that!
John Kerr 6’7 F/C St Ambrose 31ppg/12rpg
The Bees have only played one game thus far so his numbers are a little inflated, but Kerr is still a good player. He is relentless on the glass ad should have another big night tonight against a Hannibal team that is really struggling.
Jalin Wimberly 6’5 G Reinhardt 13.25ppg/6.6rpg/4.5apg/2.25spg
Another player we have mentioned before in these, butย Wimberly keeps stuffing the stat sheet every game. He isn’t the leading scorer on his team, but is all over the floor. He leads the Eagles in RPG, APG and SPG. His SPG and APG numbers both rank 3rd in the AAC.
James Jones 6’5 F Shawnee State 19.67ppg/6.4rpg
Jones had a hot start to the year with 3 straight games over 20 points. He has still been really good in the Bears other games, but Shawnee has locked in defensively now and is playing at a much slower pace. If Martin Methodist can force Shawnee to play uptempo tonight, you could see another big night for Jones.ย
