Still hoping to get a link to be able to watch this game. If we find one we will be sure to share it. Either way this is a big game for both teams. Faulkner, in our opinion, still tends to fly under the radar some. This is a talented group led by All-American CJ Williamson and they are out to prove they are for real. No way better to prove it then to schedule the #1 team in NAIA. #1 IWU is coming off their first loss of the year @ Grace. Mangas, Maxwell and company will be fired up in this one. Expecting this game to be a good one.

Speaking of great games. How about this matchup for back to back days!! Two teams who we thought were primed to make some serious noise in Kansas City last year. LCSC has a majority of that team back. Arizona Christian lost some key pieces from last year, but still have plenty of talent. They also added 6’7 D1 Transfer Bryce Davis to the mix. They will need that size today as Lewis-Clark State has a good group of bigs. It is 3:00pm Arizona Time, so many of us will be working, but you best believe I will be finding a way to watch this game today!

William Carey @ Stillman 7:30pm CT Live Video

A fun little Southern States Athletic Conference matchup with this one. William Carey has won 5 straight and Stillman is coming off of their first game of the season. A game in which Trey Petty had a 38pt triple-double. This Stillman group lost a lot from last season, but Petty and company will look to pick up a nice SSAC win today. William Carey is so well coached by the legend, Steve Knight. He will have his William Carey squad ready to go in this one!

Five Players To Watch

This Loyola team is loaded with talent and one guy that kind of quietly goes about his work is Tim Cameron. An HM All-American from last year, Tim is a really good guard who is a good scorer and a great passer. He just consistently gets it done for the Wolfpack.

Stillman lost a lot last season, but in the first game of the season Trey Petty was letting people know that he was still here. The Sr went for a 38pt massive triple-double to help Stillman move to 1-0. They face a William Carey team tonight that has a few more games under their belt. Petty will look to continue to lead the way for this Stillman group.

Eddie already has a couple North Star Athletic Conference Player of the Week nominations under his belt this year. The Guard provides a ton of energy and spark off the bench for VCSU. He is long, athletic and anticipates passes well in the VCSU press. His motor is non stop and he is a ton of fun to watch.

The 3rd Team All-American from a year ago is having another big time season. They face the #1 team in NAIA today and he will have to have a big game for Faulkner to walk away victorious. He is an electric scorer, who competes his tail off. He will have his work cut out for him today as the guy listed below will be waiting for him at the rim most of the afternoon.

Seth Maxwell’s game has really come a long ways since his Freshman season. He has built himself into a real threat on both ends of the floor and has come away with some huge games when teams are focused on taking away Kyle Mangas and the IWU guards. Seth can hurt you inside and out and is starting to get better at driving from the midpost area. He is a force on the defensive end as the IWU pressure funnels right into the 7’0 big man waiting to block shots or alter your shot. Expect him to have a big game today against a smaller Faulkner squad.
