Fun little matchup in the Chicagoland this afternoon. Ambrose is 2-0 in CCAC play and 7-2 overall. Saint Francis is 1-0 in CCAC play and 8-3 overall. Both teams have some good wins under their belt and this should be a great ball game. Ambrose will be looking to throw the ball inside to John Kerr, while Saint Francis will look for it’s advantage on the perimeter with Eric Ting and Joey Buggemi.

Marian is coming off of a heart breaking loss, to Huntington, on a last second shot. Saint Francis is coming off a heart breaking loss, to Grace, on a last second shot. It will be interesting to see how these teams bounce back in this game. Saint Francis is now 2-3 in the Crossroad and needs a big home win tonight. Marian sits at 3-2 in league play, but another loss here moves them down the standings quite a bit. Important game for both teams tonight.

25 Bethel @ RV Oklahoma Wesleyan 8:00pm CT Live Video

Another game that should be a battle in the KCAC. Bethel will take it’s nine game win streak into a big matchup with the preseason KCAC favorites OKWU. This is an important game for both teams in their goal to win a regular season KCAC title. With both teams sitting at 1 and 2 in the standings, this game could go a long way in tie breaking scenarios down the road,

Five Players To Watch

Eric is putting together a really solid season thus far. A team that doesn’t play as up-tempo as others, Ting is leading St Francis in scoring at 12.5ppg, assists per game at 3.09, and steals per game at 1.09. He has been big for the Fighting Saints this season!

Harden is making a strong push for GPAC POY! The do it all guard is tough and scrappy. He averages 16.5ppg and leads the GPAC in steals per game at 2.03, is 2nd in the GPAC in APG at 4.45. He can score in spurts and completely take over games late. He is a fun guard who will leave it all on the floor every night.

Jaylon is a KCAC POY candidate. He has helped lead Bethel (KS) to nine straight wins. He is 2nd in the KCAC in RPG at 10.39, which is 15th Nationally. He is also 10th in country in DRPG at 8.4rpg. Jaylon averages a double-double at 16.31ppg and 10.39rpg. He also is 4th in the KCAC in assists per game at 3.77. He will need to have another big night on the road today as they continue to fight for a KCAC Title.

The front runner for the Heart of America Conference POY. Kevion is also a National Player of the Year Candidate. Kevion is a double-double machine averaging 17ppg to go along with 10.4rpg. He is an above the rim rebounder who can also lead the break, and is a very underrated passer. He is a lot of fun to watch!

Cameron is force on the inside for Marian. He is relentless on the glass averaging 10.33rpg. What makes him tough is that he can drag you out to the mid-post and drive to score on bigger defenders, He is a tough matchup for most teams and should have a big game tonight coming off of a loss!
