We gave a shoutout to Grace today on the Podcast. They have really grinded out some wins during their five game win streak. They will have to do it again today as they face a Huntington team who has surprised some people this year. This should be another tough grind it out game and would be a big win for both squads!
16 Martin Methodist @ 17 Georgetown 2:00pm ETย Live Video
A game that was Junior’s Game of the Week on the podcast. We are eager to see how this Georgetown team bounces back off of a 40pt loss last week. They are a young group who is so well coached. This Martin Methodist team has been playing great basketball all season. It’s going to be a fun matchup out on the perimeter today between Sophomore Adarion Hundson (MMC) and Freshman Derrin Boyd (Gtown). This game though, could come down to does MMC have an answer for Kyran Jones?!
This Benedictine team has several pieces left from two seasons ago when they went undefeated in Heart of America play and were ranked #1 in the country for most of the season. They are tough, lock down on defense and can shoot with anyone in the country. After a rough start to the season, Park has finally started to hit its stride winning 7 of it’s last 8 games with that loss being on the road versus #3 William Penn. This should be a great game today!

Five Players To Watch
Have we mentioned how good this Sophomore class is in the NAIA?! Adarion is having a big time Sophomore season.ย He leads the team in PPG (20.6), APG (6.55) and SPG (3.18). His assists per game mark has him currently 3rd in the country while his steals per game mark ranks him 8th nationally. Hudson can really fill up a stat sheet and is a must watch!
Replacing Trayvon Tyler this year was going to be a difficult task for Lincoln, but Lijah Donnelly has stepped in just fine. The D1 transfer from Illinois State is averaging 17.4ppg. He has helped take some of the pressure off of Freshman Peewee Brown, who is going to be a great player in his own right. Donnelly is currently shooting 48% from 3, andย
Leander leads Asbury in PPG (16.20), RPG (8.3), APG (3.1) and BPG at just under 1 per game. He has scored in double figures in every game this season. Look for Leander to have a big game today on the road versus Midway.
Anthony continues to be one of our favorite young players in NAIA. The big wing is a two-way player who is a really smooth scorer. MNU is on a 5 game win streak and while they are sharing the wealth with different leading scorers, Anthony has been a big part of that five game win streak. He is coming off of a rough shooting night against Missouri Valley, but he has played well in big games and today they get the 3rd ranked William Penn team to try and move that win streak to 6 games.
Trey Brown has been a force down low all year for Morningside. The big fella is averaging 17.4ppg and 10.6rpg and is 4th in the NAIA in Total Rebounds at 170. He is also 13th in the NAIA in ORPG with 3.8. He is tough to keep off the glass, and has not been held under 10pts this season.
