Games of the Day:

Point @ Reinhardt 6pm ETย Live Video

Point continues to sit atop the AAC Standings. Reinhart sits just a game back of 1st place. Going to be a tough road test for this Point team. This game also features some fun players with Lorenzo Freeman of Point and Kristian Collins of Reinhardt. Both teams average right around 88ppg, so expect a fast paced game in this one!

Warner @ Florida Memorial 6pm ETย Live Video
ย
Warner sits one game up on Ave Maria at the moment. Ave gets to play at home tonight, while Warner travels to Florida Memorial. Warner’s only three losses on the season have come on the road. This Florida Memorial team has some size and talent, just haven’t quite pieced it together.ย

#10 Faulkner @ Dalton State 7pm ETย Live Video

Faulkner ran away with the home win over Dalton State earlier this month. CJ Williamson and Jordan Hamlette provide the Eagles with a great 1-2 punch. These two are 1st and 2nd in the SSAC East standings though, so will be interesting to see if Dalton State can pull off a big upset at home or not.ย

Five Players To Watch

#3 Cameron Hines 5’10 G USAO

Hines is part of a terrific USAO guard trio of him, Stephon Hall and Elvin Rodriguez . Hines surpassed the 1,000pt scoring mark earlier in January and currently leads USAO in scoring at 17.6ppg.

#13 Jordan Willis 6’2 G Middle Georgia State

Just named the SSAC Player of the Week!!

It’s the 2nd time this season he was won the SSAC POW award. Willis averaged 24ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.8apg in four games this past week. Including a 24pt, 10reb game versus #10 Faulkner. Willis is 2nd in the SSAC in both scoring at 21.86ppg and SPG at 2.0.ย

#22 Lorenzo Freeman 6’2 G Point (GA)

The AAC doesn’t always get a lot of love, but Point (GA) is starting to pop up as a potential Top 25 team. The leaders of the AAC have won 10 straight and a lot of that has to do with Lorenzo Freeman.ย

He is 5th in the AAC in scoring at 20.37ppg, which puts him as the 6th best scorer in the NAIA right now.

#10 Fernando Salsamndi 6’5 G Ave Maria

Just Named The Sun Conference Player of the Week!!

Fernando is 2nd in The Sun Conference in both scoring at 17.94ppg and RPG at 8.65. The Senior had a career high 35pts to go along with 11 rebounds against Keiser this past week. He has been one of the best players in The Sun this year!

#5 Taeron Hogg 6’7 F Kentucky Christian

Just named the AAC Player of the Week!ย

Taeron is 19th in the AAC in scoring at 14.5ppg, 15th in the AAC in RPG at 6.25. In 3 games this week, Hogg averaged 26ppg, 10rpg including a 33pt, 14reb performance against Union.
