2020-21 NorthStar Standings
(RV) Valley City (15-4 6-3 NSAA)-The Vikings who (RV) in the newest NAIA top 25 poll for the third consecutive time went 3-0 on the week and 2-0 in the NSAA. In non-conference action VCSU defeated Yellowstone Christian 82-62, Chris Thompson led all scorers with 18 points. In conference play the Vikings picked up a 93-66 win over Presentation Joshua Kelly led VCSU with 19 points. Valley City finished off the weekend sweep with a 94-68 win over Mayville, Kevin Schramm led all scorers with 26 points and added 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Mayville State (9-4 6-3 NSAA)-Split their conference doubleheader this weekend. First the Comets picked up a 66-58 victory over Dickinson State, Latrelle Franklin led the Comets with 15 points. Mayville then fell to (RV) Valley City, 94-68, Franklin led the Comets in scoring again with 14 points.
Bellevue (14-11,6-3 NSAA)-The Bruins picked up a non-conference win this week over Trinity International by a score of 109-74, Ryan Reed led the Bruins and all scorers with 21 points off the bench.
Viterbo (8-6 5-4 NSAA)-Went 2-0 in conference play this week, first defeating Waldorf 62-46, Robert Cunitz led all scorers with 19 points. The V-Hawks completed their week with a 77-72 victory over Dakota State, Cunitz again led all scorers with 31 points.
Dickinson State (8-11 5-4 NSAA)-The BlueHawks went 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the NSAA this week. In non-conference action Dickinson fell to Yellowstone Christian 80-73, Bryce Knox led Dickinson with 20 points. In NSAA play the BlueHawks dropped a 66-58 contest to Mayville, Trey Hladky led Dickinson with 15 points. Dickinson rebounded to earn a win to close out the week defeating Presentation, 74-56. John Evans and Ajdin Toskic each had 16 points for the BlueHawks.
Dakota State (7-11 5-4 NSAA)-The Trojans split their conference weekend, first falling to Viterbo, 77-72, Gavin Schipper had 17 points to lead Dakota State. The Trojans bounced back with a 90-51 victory over Waldorf, Jordan Lynn led all scorers with 27 points.
Waldorf (5-13 3-6 NSAA)-Dropped both conference contests this week and picked up a non-conference win. The Warriors first fell in NSAA play to Viterbo by a score of 62-46, Lorenzo Smith led Waldorf. The Warriors bounced back the next day to pick up a non-conference win over Association Free Lutheran 97-52, Chett Helming led the Warriors with 14 points. Waldorf closed out the week with a 90-51 loss to Dakota State, Zaveon Smith had 11 points off the bench to lead Waldorf.
Presentation (3-19 0-9 NSAA)-Went 0-2 on the weekend. The Saints fell to (RV) Valley City 93-66, Ian Kelly continues to be a bright spot for the Saints leading all scorers with 30 points and adding 10 rebounds for a double-double. PC then fell to Dickinson State 74-56, Kelly again led all scorers with 20 points.

- Dickinson State-Very up and down team but a team that nobody in the conference can overlook.
- Dakota State-Another up and down team that canโt be overlooked.
- Waldorf – Rough weekend, need to respond on their home floor this weekend.
- Presentation-A team that has some good pieces but needs to learn how to win.
