February 15th NAIA Games

Games of the Day:

Reinhardt @ Point 4pm ETย Live Video

Point has been able to hold onto 1st place in the AAC for almost the entire season now. Reinhardt currently sits in 2nd place in the AAC Standings. The winner of the AAC Regular Season punches their ticket to the NAIA National Tournament. With just a couple games remaining, this is a big game on the East Coast!

Governors State @ Olivet Nazarene 7pm CTย Live Video

The CCAC has gone to a point system for their overall CCAC Standings. This is still a big game for both as ONU tries to be in a perfect position to lock up one of the CCAC’s three auto-bids. Governors State currently sits in 5th place in the point standings and could use a BIG points boost with an upset tonight.ย

9 SAGU @ Texas Wesleyan 7:45pm CTย Live Video

SAGU can lock up at least a share of the SAC Regular Season Title with a tough road win tonight! TexWes is fighting for seeding in the SAC Tournament. They currently sit 5th in the Standings and a win tonight keeps them a game back of 3rd place.ย

Five Players To Watch

#12 Zach Goodline 6’1 G Hungtington

– 7th in the NAIA in Total Assists

– 16th in the NAIA in APG with 5.348

– 29th in the NAIA in Total Points

Zach is the engine that makes this Huntington team go. He leads them in both PPG and APG and is perfect fit within this offense. The Sophomore will try to get Huntington that 4th Seed in the CL Tournament. A win tonight over Saint Francis would put them in a prime position!

#22 Lorenzo Freeman 6’2 G Point

– 9th in the NAIA in Total Points

– 31st in the NAIA in PPG with 20.47

Freeman is a kid we have discussed a couple of times before in this segment. He is a big time scorer and is coming off of a 39 and 25 point performance over his last two games. With a potential National Tournament bid on the line tonight, you have to expect Freeman will show up big!

#25 Anthony Brown 6’5 G MidAmerica Nazarene

– 8th in the NAIA in Total Steals

– 12th in the NAIA in SPG with 2.381

Anthony is still one of our favorite players to watch. He hasn’t had the explosive games that he had last season as a Freshman, but he has become a more complete player. He still leads MNU in scoring at 15.57 ppg. The game with Grandview tonight should be really fast paced and you can expect Brown to have a big game in that environment.ย

#20 Vydal Bradford 6’5 G Texas Wesleyan

Vydal has been really good for Texas Wesleyan this season. However, he is coming off of a game against John Brown in which he went 0-9 from the field. If Texas Wesleyan is going to pull off the upset tonight, they will need a big bounce back game from Bradford.ย

#12 Kristian Collins 6’6 F Reinhardt

This is a very balanced Reinhardt team with 6 players averaging 10+ppg with Collins leading the way averaging 14.25ppg. The Eagles have a chance to take over 1st place in the AAC tonight with a big win!ย
