At-Large Bids
We still have quite a few at-large teams above that 80 RPI mark. They can still get in if the Area member puts them on final nomination form, so for now we will leave them in ours until we see the next RPI ratings come out. We are anticipating some shift as some of the teams who are barely outside of the Top 80 have played well and got wins and several inside the Top 80 have lost multiple games. Our end goal is to go 64-64 in our final Bracketology Report before the official release. There are still plenty of at-large/bubble teams who are playing themselves in and out at the moment. We will also see some upsets in the Conference Touney’s where a team or two who we haven’t discussed yet, will ultimately end up with an auto-bid.
