We promised on the Road to Muni Podcast that the GSAC Tournament would be a blast and boy has it been! This is such an undervalued league. Five teams in this league are for sure headed to the NAIA National Championships and don’t be shocked if all six teams that made it to the GSAC Tourney end up getting selected. We mentioned that HIU is hosting the tournament and it didn’t matter as much last year, but it has definitely paid dividends this season. HIU last night took down the GSAC POY, Kaleb Lowery and The Master’s Mustangs. Tonight, they look to win the GSAC Tournament. OUAZ put on a heck of a shooting display yesterday to knock off top-seeded, Arizona Christian. Alex Villi went bonkers in the 1st half as he outscored the entire ACU team. He would end up going 8-14 from 3 on his way to 28 points. OUAZ is now looking to repeat as GSAC Tournament Champions with a win tonight!
