10th ranked Freed-Hardeman gets an early test as they head to Pulaski, TN to face off a UT-Southern team who already knocked off NCAA D1 Tennessee Tech this season. These are two teams who will know each other well as they were league mates the past few seasons before UT-Southern decided to leave the Mid-South in favor of the Southern States Athletic Conference. FHU swept the series last year, but it was just a 5pt game in Pulaski. FHU is coming off of a big season and will look to carry that momentum into this season. They return five starters including Ryley McClaran and JJ Wheat. They were one of the top defensive teams in the NAIA last season. Both teams are full of veterans who will be hungry in this one!
