The NAIA Bullet Points segment is a one that gives people a quick look into the world of NAIA Hoops. As games start up, this will be a daily segment, but for now it will remain weekly!
- We finally finished up our last NAIA League Breakdown today with the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. One of the coolest parts about our nearly 3,000 followers on Twitter, is that we have such a wide range of people. We have NAIA Coaches, AD’s, and Presidents. We have fans, parents and players. We also have prospective parents, players and basketball fans, who follow us in hopes of learning more about NAIA basketball. With that in mind, we try to create articles and highlight talking points that interest a lot of different audiences. So, while the League Breakdowns may seem obvious, and straight forward to some, it is brand new information for others.
- Speaking of new information, we finally were able to get our hands on the new Street and Smith magazine with the NAIA DI rankings in it. While, there are some surprises, I think it’s always a fun preseason read. I won’t post the actual teams in order to not take away from them making money on people who really want to read it, but the Top 10 from a conference viewpoint looks like this:
- Mid-South
- Golden State Athletic Conference
- Heart of America
- Mid-South
- Red River
- Golden State Athletic Conference
- Southern States
- Southern States
- Golden State Athletic Conference

- People have asked us if we will be putting out our own preseason Top 25, and the answer is YES. We will join in on the fun, as long as people understand it is for FUN! Look for the NAIA Hoops Report Top 25 to be posted in October.
- A list of some Fall Elite Camps that are coming up fast!! Elite camps are a great way for high school kids to go to a camp and get noticed by a program that they are interested in.
- The NAIA DII Player of the year in 2018-2019 has signed his pro contract!
- Most NAIA Programs have started their practices already! I know coaches probably don’t think there is enough time before the season begins, but games will be here before we know it, and it is an AWESOME feeling!
- It really is a great time of year, and we are looking forward to our first season of covering NAIA Hoops!
