AMC Standings
Central Baptist (Ark) (14-5,9-2)- The league-leading Mustangs had their four-game winning streak snapped against Missouri Baptist on Saturday. The team responded with a win over Health Sciences & Pharmacy on Sunday.This week, the team is scheduled to host Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo) on Tuesday, Harris-Stowe State (Mo) on Thursday, and a possible matchup to decide the regular season champion against Columbia College (Mo) on Saturday.
Lyon College (Ark)(8-4,6-2)- The Scots got a big win this week over Columbia College (Mo) on Saturday to overtake second place in the standings. This week, the team is scheduled to visit Williams Baptist (Ark) on Monday, host Williams Baptist on Tuesday, host Hannibal-LaGrange on Wednesday and visit Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo) on Thursday.
Columbia College (Mo)(14-5,8-3)- The Cougars split their two-game slate last week, defeating Hannibal-LaGrange on Thursday, and falling to Lyon College on Saturday. The team is scheduled to visit Health Science & Pharmacy on Wednesday, host Williams Baptist (Ark) on Thursday, and a potential matchup to claim the regular season title against Central Baptist on Saturday at home.
Missouri Baptist (14-8,10-4)- As it stands now, the Spartans concluded their regular season conference play with two wins last week over Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo) and Central Baptist. The team is likely locked into the #4 seed going into the conference tournament, but potentially can move into positions 1-4 depending on the outcomes of teams above them this week.
William Woods (Mo) (6-7,6-5)- With a pause in the program, the Owls concluded their regular season last week. The pause will take the Owls below the threshold of seeding in the AMC Tournament and they will be forced to now play in the play in game!
Williams Baptist (Ark)(7-10,5-6)- Last week, lost their lone contest of the week, falling to Missouri Baptist. This week, the team is scheduled to host Lyon on Monday, visit Lyon on Tuesday, visit Columbia on Thursday, and close out the regular season with Health Sciences & Pharmacy on the road on Saturday.
Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo)(4-16,3-9)- Last week, the Trojans lost their contest of the week to Columbia on Thursday. This week, the team is scheduled to visit Central Baptist on Tuesday, and Lyon on Thursday.
Harris-Stowe State (1-8,0-6)- The Hornets are on a pause within the program, and done for the regular season. If Health Sciences & Pharmacy does not win at least one of their games on their three-game slate next week, based on record percentage, the team can avoid the play in game for the AMC tournament.
Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo)(1-17,0-10)- The Eutectics went winless in their three-game slate last week, falling to Missouri Baptist, Hannibal-LaGrange and Central Baptist. The team needs to win at least one game in their three-game slate next week against Columbia on Wednesday, Lyon on Thursday and Williams Baptist on Saturday to claim the 7th Seed in the AMC Tournament and avoid the play in game!
