Matchups

Brooks Haddock is one of the best shooters in the NAIA and can surely shoot the Eagles to Kansas City, but this OKWU also has big man Kaleb Stokes who does a good job around the rim. This is a team that isn’t afraid to let it fly from deep! If they are hitting shots you’re in for a long night!

vs.

Park is maybe the most intriguing 3rd-seed within any Pod in the Tournament. They have some guys who can flat play! Cory Reeves was a 2nd team All-American last season and wasn’t even the best player on his team this year! The Heart of America kind of gets looked down as a lesser league this past season because William Penn ran thru the league pretty easily, but we love this Park team! Head Coach Jason Kline is a Hall of Famer and this Park team is tough, cocky and play with a lot of energy and swagger!

The Drovers won the SAC Tournament Title and even though they have only played 19 games this team looks like it’s playing it’s best basketball right now. The buy-in with this team is crazy high and they play really well together. They have started to get really great minutes from their bench as of late as well which has added to their depth. While they have three primary scorers, the rest of the rotation plays hard and gives great minutes!

vs.

Winner of #2 OKWU vs #3 Park (MO)

Another really intriguing grouping here! All three have the potential to be the team who wins the Pod and goes to the Sweet 16 in KC! Instead of doing this in paragraph form, here are the keys to victory for each team:

1. Park as the 3 seed has to bring the energy, take care of the ball and continue to turn stops into points!

2. OKWU is going to need to handle the defensive pressure in Game 1 and hope that their shots are falling!

3. USAO can’t get complacent as a 1-seed! Depending on who they play on Saturday they are either going to have to really guard the 3pt line, or take care of the ball against Park’s pressure D!

Three tough teams here in Park City Bracket A! One of our favorite brackets to keep an eye on!!
