We haven’t done a Daily Dive for awhile. Maybe one day this will be our full time job, but life has been a bit crazy throughout the Holiday’s and unfortunately it affected some of our time we had to devote to the site. The good news is that things are slowing back down, so hopefully that free time will pop back up and we can get more coverage back going!
- Games of the Day Recap
- Benedictine (KS) 67 – #20 Central Methodist 63
- For those of you that don’t know, this always seems to be the time of year where Benedictine starts to find their stride. Last night they got a big Heart of America road win knocking off #20 Central Methodist. The Ravens were without the services of big man Eric Krus, but their defense stymied the CMU attack holding them to 42% from the field and just 25% from 3. Saxtun Thuston stepped up big with a 17pt/10reb double-double.
- #21 Georgetown 66 – Campbellsville 58
- Georgetown stays a game back of 1st place in the Mid-South as they held off a furious late Cumberlands rally to get a nice MSC road win. Jayrese Williams was big for GC, leading them with 24pts. They will now head to play a struggling Shawnee State team on Thursday.

- rv Pikeville defeated Cumberlands 83-76

- #13 Central Methodist 67 – #25 Benedictine (KS) 51
- This CMU team is so, so good and they just imposed their will last night over #25 Benedictine. CMU held BC to just 30.9% from the field and that defensive effort had them up by as much as 23 late in the fourth quarter. They only have 1 true loss on the year and are a team to watch as they should start to creep back up into the Top 10 soon.

- In SAC play, Langston defeated USAO 71-57.

- Other NAIA Notes:
- How about a really done hype video for the Top 10 Matchup tonight between IWU and Grace!
- Congrats to Bryant Bernard of TWU for joining the 1k scorers club last week.
- He may be new to the NAIA, but he is NOT new to scoring, and he can do that with the best of them! Congrats to Kae’ron Baker on scoring his 1,500th career point! Really fun player to watch!
- Also surpassing 1,500 career points was Lawrence Tech’s, Kendall Fisher. She is LTU’s second all-time leading scorer since the program was brought back in 2012-13! Congrats Kendall!
- Former Bethel (IN) star Trevion Crews is having a great start to his pro career!
