Semifinal Breakdown

No. 1 Arizona Christian vs No. 5 Ottawa (AZ)

These two teams just played a week ago, with Arizona Christian winning 78-71, to run their win streak to 8 straight games. For OUAZ, they come into this game after a 20pt thumping of 4-seed Westmont. The Firestorm are finally healthy and look the part of a National Title Contender, you don’t have to win a conference tournament to be one, but ACU certainly would love to add another GSAC Tittle to their season accolades. For OUAZ, this may end up being the last chance for All-American, Josiah De laCerda to knock off Arizona Christian. Something he, nor OUAZ, as a program, have ever done!

No. 2 The Master’s vs No. 3 Hope International

The GSAC Player of the Year, Kaleb Lowery is a beast. The Sophomore burst onto the scene last year posting double-double after double-double. GSAC Freshman of the Year, Kamrin Oriol is having a big year as well. This may be a youthful Mustang team, but it is a VERY talented and VERY good team who is playing some great basketball this season. HIU, who are led by Jalani Horn and Sebastian Castro, will look to protect their home court tonight. Oddly enough, both of these teams won as road teams on each other’s home courts this season and HIU is actually the last team to knock off the Mustangs.
