In a league that started off with some big opening round upsets, the QF’s and Semi’s were pretty chalky giving us a rematch between the top two teams in the MSC. FHU has won 5 straight games coming in. The two teams split their season series though with FHU losing by 2pts at G’Town and then winning by 16pts at home. Ryley McClaran leads the Lions in scoring. Brandon Thomas was the lone 1st team All-MSC selection for the Lions. For Georgetown, Chris Briggs was named MSC Coach of the Year and Tae Dozier was named Freshman of the Year. Veteran Jake Ohmer, who returned to the Tigers at semester, was named to 1st team All-MSC team. Ohmer is a major scoring threat for Georgetown and former All-American, Kyran Jones leads the league in rebounding. Both of these teams are very good and should be 1-seeds within their pods in the National Championship opening rounds. This will be one of the best games of the day!
